The Procedure

Every patient is unique. As such, patients require individual approaches to help reshape their nose in ways that fit their facial aesthetic.

Dr. Mascaró will spend time and evaluate your anatomy during the consultation to determine the best surgical plan and provide you with the results you want. He believes this is of utmost importance during the consultation - spending as much time listening to your goals so that an open discussion can be had in regards to what can and cannot be achieved with surgery.

Dr. Mascaró usually primarily performs a closed, minimally invasive rhinoplasty in which all of the small incisions are made inside of the nose. There are times, however, when Dr. Mascaró will perform an open rhinoplasty - this is particularly true in revision work.

Performing an open rhinoplasty allows Dr. Mascaró to get a good look at what was previously done and make precise adjustments accordingly. In this way, we can avoid the pinched and collapsed look with the tell-tale signs of a bad nose job that were common in the past.

Non Surgical Options

In some cases, a “non-surgical nose job” using only a variety of injections and no surgery at all may be sufficient to provide you with the look you want.
